ManTech/ Herndon, VA: TFS Administration using Visual Studio 2013, Code reviews of existing application written in C++. Developing Requirement Analysis Documents.  Maintaining sql 2008 database and migration to sql 20012. 

Project:  DHS:  Building enhancements, fixing bugs, and addressing work items in a software product that manages the finances at DHS. 

 

Sr. Web Developer      03/14/2014 – 7/1/2014

Agilex / Chantilly, VA: Responsible for .net 3.5, & 4.0 Application development in C# .net using Visual Studio 2013 & TFS. Back end maintenance of SQL 2014 Data Base.  Stored code in TFS and executed commits, fetches, and pulls using Source Tree. Code reviews done using Stash

Project:  NCUA:  Rebuilding NCUA Automated Credit Union Call Report System - CU Online.  Agile Development process.  Project built using MVC 4 with JS libraries including jQuery, Angular, Backbone, and Kendo UI.  Designed and developed wireframes with using CSS bootstrap and HTML5 using a Responsive web design (RWD) pattern.

 

Sr. Web Developer      05/21/2012 – 06/05/2013

MKGCS / Herndon, VA: Responsible for .net 3.5, & 4.0 Application development in C# .net using Visual Studio 2012 Professional with TFS. Back end maintenance of SQL 2008 Data Base.  Developed Stored Procedures to Insert, Select, Update, and Delete. Also did several triggers and jobs. Created stored procedures which generated Temporary tables for timeline escalation for packages. The timeline used Responsive Images written in HTML5 coupled with CSS3 (webkit-transform: rotate) to angle text on the timeline markers.  Implement a Responsive web design (RWD) with bootstrap to scale the applications presentation layer display to fit the screen of any device.

Project:  DAMPS-A:  Soldier and Unit Approval Process for Active Duty.  Soldiers with by-name requests to fill known AD positions use DAMPS-A to electronically sign their application for Active Duty.  The Soldier’s chain of command uses DAMPS-A to review and approve or deny the Soldier’s request for AD.   Unit approved requests are transferred to DAMPS for HQDA review.  HQDA approved requests are transmitted electronically to HRC for orders.  Application is accessed by AKO Username or CAC. Worked with an Agile development process including a Daily SCRUM and weekly Sprint

Additional responsibilities include code quality control, server configuration and maintenance, requirement gathering, application builds, testing, and deployment.  Database security, scripting, stored procedure development, and maintenance using Oracle 10i.

Sr. Web Applications Developer               6/2008 - 10/2008

Booz | Allen | Hamilton / McLean, VA:  C#.Net developer / SSRS developer.

MCC Project – Completed Financial and Procurement Reports using SSRS.  Reporting consisted of 3 environments. 

1.       Canned reports which generated directly from the MCC database.  Canned Reports were used to display historical data by passing SSRS parameters for Country, Compact, Disbursement Quarter, and Fund Type. 

2.       Pre Submission Reports which are generated and sent to foreign countries receiving US financial aid.  Pre Submission Reports summarized Quarterly spending and disbursements.  Additionally they captured and displayed financial data entry errors and budgeting conflicts prior to being sent to foreign countries for approval.  Pres Submission Reports are generated using 2 data sources:  the MCC database (SQL 2005) and XML data entry templates submitted by the foreign countries receiving Funding. 

3.       Submission Reports are generated after Pre Submission reports have been signed and approved.  Submission reports are generated after XML data has been approved and inserted into the ADS database. 

FBI EUI Project - Web interface application for the FBI using asp.net / C#.net. And an Oracle 10i database.  Specialization in Modular window development using JavaScript and Ajax.net.

Used Visual Studio 2008 and Toad.  Used Oracle 10i and SQL 2005 data base.  Used SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) Exercising TS clearance for classified data.

 

Sr. Systems Developer               9/2007 - 4/2008

Ideamatics Inc/ McLean, VA:  VB.Net developer.

Details of Position:  Developed a web based Mobilization Application for the US Coast Guard.  Development .Net 2.0 with Visual Studio 2005 / SQL Server 2005. 

Recent work includes SSRS (Creating, Deploying, & Securing), and CPRL disaster planning which involves a web based Disaster planning data upload to the DB server & the use of SSIS packages to import that data (Uploaded in MS. Excel) into SQL 2005.

Daily Tasks:  Responsible for code deployments to all environments, security settings, user administration, web configuration & hosting, report access and configuration, and general upkeep of the 4 web servers.   (8 servers in all to maintain not including local development environment).  

Responsible for 90% of application development on MRTT (Mobile Readiness Tracking Tool) which follows 508 guidelines.  Implemented & worked with Telerik web controls, Component Art Web.UI, and Web grid Client.  Additional experience working with Ajax.net for other clients. 

Application Utilities:  Developed an application using C# to generate .NET Data Tier layer.  The Code Generator creates SQL Server 2005 scripts files which consist of Insert, Update, Delete, Select stored procedures for all database tables.  The classes are generated in C# and then converted to VB classes.  These VB Classes make up the Data Tier Layer and are used to access the new stored procedures.

Additional Info:  (ASP).Net 2.0 development and quality control management 3 tier web application.  Responsible for deployment & maintenance of web hosting environments for USCG Development web site, User Testing site, Application Training site &USCG Production web site.  This includes the maintenance, administration, and synchronization of 4 separate SQL Server 2005 database.  Common tasks are development of SSRS reports, setting up report server and database, Job monitoring of SSIS packages for web based data imports, daily scripts &backups.

Web Graphs were dynamically generated using Dundas Charts & Dundas Gages for Visual Studio 2003 and Dundas web charts for Visual Studio 2005.

Reporting services were developed using Crystal Reports and SQL server 2005 Reporting Services (Developed using SQL Server Business Intelligence Development Studio for SQL server 2005 reports). Application Reports are accessed via an internal web based application.  Reports were generated from user selected form based filtering criteria and generated as .pdf or .rtf files.
